A combination Sunday Spaghetti Dinner, Bazaar and Raffle was the latest happening at our home. Especially welcomed and invited were the families and friends of the Residents. The Bazaar was sponsored by the Auxiliary and featured many holiday items for sale that had been made by our Residents (see pictures). The lobby, dining room, Senior Center, and hallways were the scene for the festivities. We had beautiful weather for November, in the 60’s, and the event also doubled as a fundraiser and friendraiser for the home. Tables of specially made chocolates and cakes and pies were also on display for sale and were very popular. By the end of the afternoon, everyone had had a great time while raising money for the home as well. Thanks to Joyce Donovan and the other staff members who worked so hard on this project and donated their time and talent for the home.
Pictures are of the beautiful offerings for sale in the Bazaar, and of Resident Loretta Walsh and Sr. Mary Veronica, both natives of Buffalo, NY sharing some laughs together.
