Corpus Christi Sunday on June 10th was celebrated with gratitude for many graces. Most importantly, the great gift of our Lord Himself in the Most Holy Eucharist as He promised to be with us to the end of time. To help to add to the beauty of this solemn feast, (by Divine Providence) “Dierberg” a company who donates to our home was inspired to give a generous amount of beautiful colorful roses the Friday before the solemn feast.
To say the least, the Little Sisters of the Poor were overjoyed at the beauty of these roses, and managed to arrange the roses all around the chapel. This included a carpet of rose petals that was in front of the main altar, depicting a chalice with the Host (see photos). Glory be to God for His abundant goodness to us.
