For the second year in a row, our Red Hatters group recently conducted a Chili Day, offering regular and hot & spicy chili for lunch for residents and staff to help finance their outings throughout the year. The chili ingredients were gathered and prepared the day before with some help from Saint Louis University volunteers. The chili and toppings were scheduled to be served in the first floor hallway between 11 am. and 3:30 pm, but the event was so popular that the chili ran out by 2 pm. and some late comers were sadly disappointed.
