SLU volunteers assist Mae Perryman at bat
Our Residents can hardly wait for the Cardinals baseball season to begin. So it was with great joy and anticipation that,
on Friday, January 24th, staff members from Chaifetz Arena on the Saint Louis University campus came by to host a
baseball game in our auditorium.
With paper bases and home plate in place, the volunteers took to the field as Residents, one by one, took their turns at
bat. Along with popcorn and refreshments, all involved had a great time. We are very grateful to the Chaifetz Arena staff
for their involvement in this event, which brought fun and laughter to our Residents on a bleak winter day.
