A trip across the Mississippi and into Illinois to head for the racetrack and have an enjoyable afternoon of food, betting, winning and losing. Ten Residents and some from our Senior Center attended the special weekday outing, with a low-priced lunch at the park of 75-cent hot dogs and sodas. Word is out that we had more winners than losers, though everyone agreed that a great afternoon was enjoyed by all.
