Purchases made through Amazon Smile provide a small donation to our ministry and cost nothing to the donor. This is also true for using an eScrip community card when shopping at Schnuck’s: When registering your card, select “Little Sisters Of The Poor St. Louis Residence.”
Using Goodsearch for web searches and Goodshop for purchases help support us with no cost to the user. There is even an option on eBay for you to donate a percentage of your sale to the Little Sisters’ ministry.
Since we receive no funding from Catholic Charities or United Way, we must generate more than 40% of our funding each year from church collections, mailings, grants, planned gifts, and special events. Inspired by their foundress’ heroic trust in Divine Providence, the Little Sisters have never accepted endowments, but continue to rely on Divine Providence to provide for their needs through the generosity of the communities in which they serve the elderly.
In addition, you can maximize your donations through matching gifts from your employer. Please check with your Human Resources Department for information. Often even retirees or spouses can take advantage of this option.
Our friends and donors are special to us. Therefore, our office never sells or shares our list of donor information with anyone else.
