If it’s October, it must be playoff time once again for Major League Baseball, and the Cardinals are in the thick of it as usual. This year as defending World Champions, they squeaked in as the 2nd Wild Card for the National League. Our staff and Residents are wearing red in full force to show our support for the home team. Pictured here is a display by Mary Chrismer of our Laundry Department. Mary is a diehard fan and collects lots of Cardinal memorabilia representing World Series wins in 2006 and 2011. Also pictured is the famous Rally Squirrel that made national headlines last year. In a nod to Mother Jean’s favorite team, the New York Yankees, Mary also displayed a NY Yankees bear.
