Residents, staff and visitors gathered in our auditorium on September 3rd to honor Alice Johnson, who is retiring after completing 29 years of service to the Home and Residents as a Certified Nurses Aide (CNA) on the 4th floor nursing care unit. Sister Monique, supervisor of care on the 4th floor, and the Residents in her care came together to sing her praises, to celebrate, and to thank Alice for her care and service.
Sister Paul, administrator of the Home, and Mike Deering, Human Resources Director, spoke of her tireless care for our Residents over the years, her commitment to the mission of the Home, and presented her with a token of appreciation from the Home and Little Sisters.
The customary photos were taken and everyone attending was treated to a meal, refreshments and a piece of Alice’s retirement cake. We thank Alice for her many years of care for our Residents and her service to the Home. She will be greatly missed!
