Every Thursday at 1 p.m. a devoted group of Residents gathers in our chapel to pray the devotional prayers to Mary, Mother of Perpetual Help. The short 15-minute service is led by our chaplain, Fr. Jim Beegan, a priest of the Missionaries of the Holy Family, and consists of opening and closing hymns to the Blessed Virgin Mary and prayers of intercession. Then the Blessed Sacrament is exposed and Father blesses the group in attendance. This devotion has been continued for more than forty years at our Home and is another opportunity for Residents to participate in the spiritual life of the Little Sisters and the Church universal.
