Shrewsbury Lanes was the site of the first outing for 2015 of our home’s Men’s Group on Friday, February 20th. Nate Borgsmiller of our Activities Department and Doug Kersten, Association Jeanne Jugan member, led the 5-member entourage to the lanes for lunch and bowling. The men could hardly contain themselves through their pizza lunch as the excitement of competitive bowling and fun became overwhelming. The men competed in teams of two, and Residents Augie Arbuzow and John Fortson came in with the best scores of 128 and 116. Charles Markus, Bob Hussmann and Steve Gray rounded out the group which is already planning for another bowling outing. With the extra cold winter keeping our Residents inside for the most part, this trip was a welcome opportunity for friendship, laughter, competition, and just getting out of the house. Everyone had a great time and can’t wait for the next chance to hit the lanes. Another successful outing from our Activities Department!
